Anyone using the HALFLINE system by NY Saddle Hunter or JRB SRT on the fly this SeAsoN?

Where would you start if the starting point is zero redundancy and the goal is 100% redundancy? I’m looking for a line by line like “start here then add this, then this…….” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone using the HALFLINE system by NY Saddle Hunter or JRB SRT on the fly this SeAsoN?

I’m not concerned about it. I feel much safer getting to hunting height with the halfline system than I ever have with sticks and a hang on. I’m 6’8 280# so I’m not little. I’m running an f4 with the CT aider and an 8mm oplux. Every now and then I’ll get to looking at my rope and I ask “why are...

Why do so many choose the madrock over the GriGri+??

Im a big fella and an ascender/descender novice so I went with the f4. Maybe I’m the fool for not going with the grigri+?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Season destroyed by the beast stand

Not here to be a downer but this is probably an unpopular opinion…… We as hunters face adversity every time we go out. Your stand didn’t ruin your season, it ruined a single hunt. All you are doing is starting yourself further behind for your next hunt with your mindset. Get your orange on. Sit...

smaller than ambush sized saddle platform maybe coming from lwcg

Will the post on this new LWCG platform be good the first time? Or second? Or third? I kid. I love my ambush. It was a bear getting all of that taken care of though. I just hope they don’t run into the same issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Climbing a tree with vines

Brambles? Green vines with sharp spade like thorns? If so, I have found that taking 3 minutes to snap them versus pulling them works great. You can almost roll them up like multiple power cords. Where I’m at the best trees have brambles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
