    Turkey vest recommendations

Bah!! It's back to the $229 now - a few days late to the party!

    Ground blind chair…whatcha got?

Pulled the trigger on a tidewe ground blind. Couldn’t pass up on a $100 270 degree see through blind. Looking for a seat with a back. Doesn’t have to swivel. Too many bad reviews on the Hawk big Denali.

Dallas Safari Club in Dallas 11-14 Jan

Any forum members going this year? I find myself in Mississippi and am strongly considering driving over for one of the weekend days.

How do you carry your milkweed?

+1 for me too - it fits in my Kuiu bino harness side pouch and easily accessible.

    Hoosier Nat'l Forest

Thanks for the insight and those links. The deer density in VT could be comparable to what IN holds or maybe slightly better. Just looking to extend my range and available hunting days.

    Hoosier Nat'l Forest

A group of us backed out of the Shawnee National Forest in OH last year as the reports of EHD sounded bad and would make a difficult trip even harder. I've done some google research about the Hoosier National Forest in Indiana and might do a solo bow hunt there this year. Anyone on this site...

    Backpack straps -- whatcha use?

I can't disagree with that. Muddy straps seem to have the lowest cost but the reviews are not favorable. Cabelas used to sell them and I was going to pick a few up with points but they seem to no longer carry them.

    Backpack straps -- whatcha use?

I've used a pair of XOP straps that came with an older tree stand for the past few years. I've now acquired a few more platforms and liked those straps to carry in my platform with titan straps holding down my sticks but there's gotta be a more budget friendly option vs $20 straps. What does...

Assistance needed | Red dot scope for turkeys

All, I'm having a difficult time choosing a red dot scope for my Benelli Super Vinci. I have it narrowed down between the Vortex series (leaning towards the Viper due to the battery access) and the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro. Do any of you have reviews/feedback?

    Trophy room for sloped walls

I have 7 (WT) mounts. I've also considered buying the full range hanging system and use a whiskey barrel to display a few via a pedestal.

    Trophy room for sloped walls

I have some skull plates that'll display without issue - my quest was to find examples of taxidermy heads for walls that were short (3') then had an upward slope.

    Trophy room for sloped walls

Moving houses and the bonus room above the garage will be dedicated to the outdoors. Aside from putting taxidermy on either side of the rear window, on the wall, what do others do with their heads on sloped walls? I was unable to embed the pics it’s the last 4-5 photos...

    Meat! Looking for reviews

Do you use LEM products? If so, what's a recommendation for someone getting into processing that's not wanting the 'starter' package but a package that'll be a buy once, cry one deal.

    Meat! Looking for reviews

Agreed, they had some amazing pre holiday sales going on - I want to say it was nearly 40% off. They do a military discount year round and I assume that's similar to their Expertvoice discount.
