    Why don't yall 2TC?

Do you think steel cable would work? Fairly stiff for its diameter and has low memory. A small piece of heat shrink on the ends of the cable might help prevent poking through the sheath. Maybe the vinyl coated cable would be better for not poking through?

You like the HTP compared to other ropes? I expect the stiffness makes it easier to progress? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe stainless cable? Possibly vinyl coated for extra corrosion resistance Sorry to continue off topic of OP, but seems OK after 1000 posts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you buying the regular drey or the drey LL?

Gotcha. I was wondering if there was a way to slide the hammock pouch onto the harness like it does with Dryad’s belts. From what I could see of the edelrid harness that didn’t seem to be an option. Your answer confirms that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like Sterling HTP is what you’re looking for. Stiffer than oplux and the sheath seems tougher against abrasion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That works for setting up before light, but I always have my bow in hand while walking during legal hunting hours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tree Bolts Question

I asked same question last year. Best answer I found was to leave 3/8” popsicle sticks in the holes. Easy to find in the dark with touch only. Replace popsicle sticks with bolts on the way up, and vice versa coming down. Heads up though, this does not work with pine trees. Worked great right...

    Tree Bolts Question

Depends on the type of tree. I tried bolts this past season in the piney woods of east texas… holes in pine trees fill up with sap in less than a week. Only option for pine is to leave bolts in until you’re done hunting that tree that season. I’ve not had the ability to test bolts in hardwood...

So how do ya’ll like your Drey after a season?

Thoughts on getting a drey if I spend most of my time leaning? I understand you can fold it up over itself for leaning. Is it significantly more comfortable than other saddles when used this way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
