    for me it depends on the weather, I’m in south southeast texas and it gets HOT at times. On those days I only go first thing in the morning. By 9 I’m already back at the truck I hate the heat.

    Yeah they are on the move constantly that’s why I use the call. Once you grunt they will stop and stay still for while trying to locate that grunt.

    I’ll take some jerky, nut bars and now I think I’ll be taking two hard boiled eggs that’s a good idea thanks CZ mark. I usually take two bottles of water in a metal bottle to reduce the noise .

    What do you consider an acceptable 40yard group to feel confident on an animal.

    If it’s a pig yeah I’ll take the shot I’m pretty consistent at 40 with softball size groups . A nice buck, well for me I would need the right shot . Meaning I’m not rushed and it’s not on alert , if it didn’t feel right I would wait for another opportunity.
