    Well that is ok.. Hurting trees with spikes is some what on size age type.. if you where to spike very hard to over spike through the bark, it only would possibly effect a high quality log tree if it was to grow 6'' over all its diameter.. now remember 2''-3'' of a side can be slab or waste...

    Paracord can vary widely in strength .. so not quiet sure how you are using this in your bridge or just maybe to shorten the mantis adjusting strap this is most likely what your doing only i hope.. but again you can eliminate all that buy just sliding your bridge rope down on your saddle loops...
