    No Shame Crying Thread

Not really crying but when ever I hear the song Thunderstruck by AC/DC, it gives me goose bumps and takes me back 30 year (3 OCT 1993) to Mogadishu, Somalia. Super 61 was my infiltration bird for the events that occurred that day. Painted on the engine cowl was Thunderstruck. Lost a lot of...

    The Purge: Hunters Edition

Used #1 back in 1993 outside Mogadishu, wart hogs were easy with this, dic dice not easy, even at 4K rounds a minute they just ran out and kept going. May have been doing it from a Blackhawk helicopter. Still it was fun, LOL

    North Carolina (Raleigh area) assistance

Agree with all on Butner, and Jordan, also if he doesn't mind driving and doesn't have access to private, Fort Bragg is open on Sundays also. If he has 50% or more VA disability he can get his Bragg permit free. Just another option.

    Elk plans for 2020

Heading out to NM in Sep. Arrow setup is Blackeage Rampage and Spartans, both 250 spine, 28 carbon to carbon. Total weight with 100 grain head is 491 grains. Broadheads are Kudu 100 grain, single bevel. I had to add some weight on the Spartans to get them to where I wanted them. Both are...

    Elk plans for 2020

My son and I are heading out to NM. We drew 16C second hunt, had 16C 1st hunt a couple of years ago. Not much bugling, but did have a chance at one good one. If anyone else is heading out for this hunt, hit me up here and maybe we can link up and compare notes.

    Play it loud.....killer music

To challenging for me to post links or videos. However two that I liked while doing work in Somalia. AC/DC "Shoot to Thrill" and "Thunder Struck" as it was painted on Super 61, my infil bird and the 1st one to get shot down. Still makes me pause and think back every time I hear it.
