Caught my biggest northern pike today. 34" weighted 10lbs. on the dot. Lot of fun to get the kiddo involved she loves to look em over and touch em!

Let's see some of them fishing picks! Going out for largemouth in the morning if the rain holds off.

Caught a 16 inch Croppie this evening. Anybody got any idea how much it might cost to have it mounted? It’s probably out of my budget but I’m curious. Also, if I were to get it mounted what should I do with the fish right now? I know I’m not supposed to fillet it.9D451086-D1F4-493C-AA06-50A7A1694924.jpeg4FC7FD66-6A6A-42E9-9553-015D4A10C5C9.jpeg

Not sure on the price but if you don’t mind a replica mount just take good pictures of the fish and it’s coloration/any unique qualities about it along with measurements of it and send those to a taxidermist

My dad, my son and I are headed to Lake Anna this weekend for some Striper fishing. I would usually have been down there several weekends by now but, the lockdowns have kept me home. There is now officially no more fish in my freezer so I'm not waiting any longer. Here are some pics from my last trip last fall.

I hit some of my dad’s ponds yesterday evening after roofing one of the barns all day.
I ended up catching about 25 black bass and 8-10 others. (Even had a couple black crappie hit a spinner bait!)

About 15 of the bass were in the 2lb range, largest was only about 3lb. The rest were very small. A couple were smaller than my spinnerbait. Definitely an enjoyable way to end a 12 hour day on a roof!

EDIT:
It was kinda crazy to see how the colorations varied drastically from pond to pond. But within each pond, the bass all looked similar color wise.

I hadn’t fished for about 10 years until this weekend. Got my boy out for an hour or so for his first timeand he caught his first two bluegills. The bass we hooked into got away. We’re gonna get into um this weekend
