I haven't splurged on good shorts yet (I spent all my money on shoes). The shorts I usually run in get heavy with sweat but they're comfortable and cheap and I'm not setting world records anyway. A buddy recommended youngla 6am compression shorts. They were on sale when I went to buy them but...

I coulda shot him so many different times. It was absolutely brutal and eeeasily would have been the best bow buck I ever shot. We played cat and mouse the rest of the season and I could never catch up with him somehow. Have 100s of pics of him. I definitely don't still daydream about him ever....

2024 Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

We had a brutal storm roll through early Sunday AM that had the electric flashing and the kids awake off and on for hours between 1-5. That majorly altered my running plans and I chose to get some rest. I split my run up into an hour during "nap" time and an hour after their bedtime. 14 miles...

Our season opened 9/6. I got out 9/7 with my kids but nothing showed. I was hoping to get out this Saturday but that's looking unlikely. Fingers crossed for 9/28. I coach highschool football and my sons flag football team so my time is basically limited to only Saturdays until middle/end of...

What did you do today that’s related to saddle hunting?

My bow setup is similar to yours. They're great heads but I'd prefer using them on turkeys over deer. Please report back when you've got results

While I agree with the consensus to hang as long as you can, I'll throw out that there's too much unknown for a solid answer. Biggest of which: how close to the food source were you? If you're 100 yards off, yeah, most deer should be back. If you're a mile off: they could trickle by at any time

2024 Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

Sunday I ran 13.6. Never ran more than just over 10 before. The first 9 went shockingly well. Felt great and had a great pace with a low HR. Had to keep myself from going harder knowing what the end was going to bring. Mile 9-10 brought some hills and wrecked my legs. 10 to the end was rough but...
