    Hickory Creek Koolaid

I have a backpack that has a chest strap. So what I’ve been doing is clipping chest strap through the butt stock and it works perfect for me. I still hold it most of the time, but can let it hang with confidence.

    i have a silly question

This has been asked before, but maybe there’s an update. Anyone know of insulated bibs where inseams are sold in tall sizes?

    New platform!!!!!!!

Also running an EDP. Considered getting an onyx to give it a try, but there’s not enough bad with the EDP to change.

Are you still shooting pretty heavy arrows? How much drop do you have from shooting at 20 to 40?

    New Re-designed Windwalker Treestand

I’ve used mine the last two seasons for all day sits. Not sure I can do it again though. The seat bugged me a little too much and I ended up standing most of the time.

    2024 Turkey Thread

Question for the guys shooting Winchester XR out of the Carlson XR chokes. Do you think the Carlson choke is any different from any other .660 restriction choke? If so why? What makes it different?

Does it make that big of a difference? Does it add length? I like the pattern at 50 yards.

    2024 Turkey Thread

It’s crazy how far decoys have come. I have tried all different types and have done the best hunting without a decoy so that’s how I roll. I always carry the old foam flextones on standby in the truck for some reason though.

    2024 Turkey Thread

Does anyone shooting TSS with those tight chokes worry about close shots? I hunt hardwoods for part of my season which requires close shots, so I’ve always tried to find a balance.

    2024 Turkey Thread

It’s does. My 50 yard shot was low, but you get the idea. Using a primos tight wad choke. But I’m pretty sure any .660 choke that accepts lead will do, as the XR load is lead.

    2024 Turkey Thread

For what it’s worth on the red dot discussion, I’ve tinkered with my 870 12ga quite a bit, and ended up with the truglo magnum gobble dot. I also can’t bring myself to pay for tss, so I go with the Winchester Long Beard XR 3 inch #6 shot. I’ve never felt more confident in that gun. Here is a...

    2024 Turkey Thread

Dang this thread started early! I got my preferred draw here in Wisconsin, but we’re over a month out from my opening day. I was somehow able to drop 3 birds last year, so that’ll be a tough one to beat. But I’m always up for the challenge!

Hauling Bike on Hitch Cargo Hauler

Going to give this a try. Shook it around quite a bit and didn’t budge too much, so I gave it the standard, “that’s goin nowhere”. Just wrapped the ratchet strap around the seat post and the front fork.

Hauling Bike on Hitch Cargo Hauler

Yeah I can’t say I’m going to be over cautious with this, but that 2x4 example gives me some ideas. Might lay it right on the carrier to close this season out and brainstorm for next year.

Hauling Bike on Hitch Cargo Hauler

I have an SUV and not a truck. I’m trying to figure out a way to put my bike onto this hitch cargo hauler since the bike doesn’t fit into the back of the SUV. I know you can buy attachments online etc, but wondering anyone has figured out a way to do it with what they have on hand in their...
