    Hard workout in the heat then maybe shoot a bit. Listening alot to successful hunters via podcasts, etc and made the call that we're all waaay to gear oriented. Its nice to have a system, but don't get tied to it. Flexibility and aggressive on opportunities is the focus now days.

    Grinding it out. Big boy is slipping all around me. He was following a doe at 230 on Thursday afternoon....pulled the card at 1030 the following morning after sitting on the opposite side of the property. Went in to where pics tell me he's coming from. Six bolts up just outside the bedroom.

    Big one didn't show. I saw one smaller buck that was behind my camera. He was about 10 yards away and I could see he picked up where I changed the card. Didn't spook, just changed course slightly. The rain will reset things, but the wind is going to switch so I gotta be there NOW.....lol
