Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce question.

Unless you're using it as a stand alone sauce...it's not worth buying the fancy stuff.

    Field Knife and Knife Sharpener

I bought one of those when they first came out years ago. One thing in those is you should clean the plates every so often as the metal fillings do build up as they're pretty aggressive

    Reading on stand

If you're using a phone or tablet to read, definitely have some sort of tether attached to your phone so if it drops, it doesn't end up on the ground. My phone case has a ring on the back so a carabiner attaches easily.

    Reading on stand

Get bone conduction earphones ..best thing ever as they don't block noises ever. And don't fall out randomly eirher

    Reading on stand

    Reading on stand

Archery hunting...I get through several books on Kindle. I listen a lot better while reading and got pretty good distinguishing squirrel and bird noise from deer For gun hunt, more chances for a deer to sneak past you at max range than with archery so I listen to podcasts on those hunts

What is your view/policy/method in regards to orange and being visible to other hunters?

Please, please, please put orange on your blinds . Some states are starting to require this but it's not too bright to wear orange walking in them go back to hiding inside your camouflaged blind.

    Field Knife and Knife Sharpener

As long as you have at least two knives in the field you don't need a sharpener. You can use the back of your knife as a sharpening steel as long as it's pretty close to the same hardness or harder as the one you need to touch up. Recommendation for kill kit....one stop hitting bones, sawing...

Why should I scout in the summer?

How much do you love ticks?.... Summer scouting for pretty much any thing is just to see if something lives in the area and looking for fall and winter producing food trees and if they have a crop developing

Brainstorming retirement plan, would trade schools for wood crafting still exist in 20 years?

people will still want custom woodworking. Whether they can afford it is another matter.

    Twig stoves

That's the rule for all cooking with wood fire. Wait for the fire to stop throwing bad smoke before cooking. Dirty smoke is from incomplete combustion.

    Tired of Using Waders

Nah. What they'd do is release the beaver, the beaver gone everywhere but where they were released at. Then the USDA Wildlife Services will come in to trap them for twice the going rate of private nuisance trappers.

    Tired of Using Waders

Get a colony of beavers to build a dam. Then once th dam is high enough, remove the beavers and knock a hole in the dam to get the water back down

Best .44 mag round for deer?

They do the job but the blood trials are lacking is my only complaint. The good thing is the deer haven't gone far.

    new hoist?

Anyone seen this thing? MFG site https://www.ravenequipt.com/product-page/ultralight-game-hoist Id be curious on how well it can actually lift on 550 cord. Looks pretty simple to set up. Could be a really good way to make gutting and deboning deer in the field a lot easier if it works.

    BaseCamp Leasing - any feedback?

Why would they have motivation to do so? Farmers generally dont want to do things that would lead to more problem animals for them being on the property. Im sure theres some more entrepreneurial guys out that that could use the lease money to buy cash crop trees and land improvements that will...

    Let's talk dumb phones

When you have stands in spots in the middle of public land where you don't want to advertise to others with flagging, it's a bit hard to navigate so GPS is great for those spots
