If you won the lottery tonight.....

At $1.5Billion (only half that take home…) I think I would buy some land in many places. Iowa, Montana and here at home in VT. @Weldabeast is on to something as well… maybe some waterfront in FL with a nice fishing vessel to go with it. Minimum of 100 acres in each spot.

improving my shooting with a self defense handgun?

I’m right there with you. Alright in close but no marksman by any means. Check out the YouTube videos by Tactical Hyve. They have some good basic drills (in particular watch the one about shooting low left).

    Live from the ground 22/23

CVA Optima for me. I’ve been pretty happy with it. Very limited sign and no activity for a week or more here. I saw a beauty of a buck on the Friday before Muzzy season. Unfortunately he was out of bow range.

Whos had more saddle hunting influence?

I got started after seeing an article in a Petersons Bowhunting magazine. They I stumbled upon all the YouTube video and I would certainly agree that Boswell had a big influence. DIY Sportsman gave me ideas to start modifications.

    Beautiful morning….

Anyone else not like early season?

I'm a fan of the early season only for the fact that I can get out and start spending more time in nature. It's been a cool start here in VT but not great. I might lay off for a couple weeks until the leaves are gone.

    Live from the saddle 2022

That's what I needed to do tonight. I had deer come in behind me but I couldn't see them through the tree canopy. They found me before I found them

Looks like a good place to sit! Don’t spill your coffee all over your gear (like I did this morning!).

You as well! I’ve had intermittent camera activity here for the last few weeks. Usually around 7:45 when they come through.

    The Wraptor

That looks correct. I had to cross over on mine. You never notice it.

    The Wraptor

I made mine (https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/the-ander-wrap-hopper-murph-sling.28900/) as a continuous loop for both panels. The recon is built this way. The continuous loop method allows for the two panels to adjust to each other. I’ve been happy with mine.

    BIG LITTLE UPDATE

Congrats man! Sounds like life has been good! Also, that would be considered a monster buck here in Vt.

My first public land mountain buck!!

Damn, how did I miss this one back at the start of the month. Congrats, that’s a nice wide rack on him.
