Pre-season Blues, Coming in to the Season with no confidence.

I feel like I have no chance of even seeing a deer this year. I spent all summer preparing my gear that I neglected scouting. Is there any way to recover from this?

    Ultra-light, Ultra-compact, Ultra-cheap Gear Hangar!

I used all of the buzzwords, they may not all be true but it's close enough. In my search for a cheap and compact gear hangar my first stop was AmSteel, and while it has it's uses It was not for me. I am a big fan of friction hitches so I used a some paracord, and some smaller paracord to make...

    Webbing to AmSteel?

I know normally rope to webbing is a big no no, but is girth-hitching webbing to an AmSteel bridge loop okay? I was planning on using a carabiner on the other side and would prefer to only use one carabiner. If girth-hitching is not okay is there any method to safely attach tubular webbing to a...

    Fleece Saddle Knot

What knot would you use to tie tubular webbing directly to your saddle for use as a bridge? I have tried the double girth hitch and the webbing slips off the end no matter how tight I get it. If there isnt a way to tie it would sewing a channel along the short side of the saddle then putting...

    Fleece saddle how-to?

So I think I am going to try to make myself a fleece saddle. Problem is I can't seem to find a guide that actually walks you through how to make one, and what is all needed. Does anyone know of a good one for someone who has never done anything like this before?

So i am 16 years old and i am on a pretty tight budget. I was wondering if it is possible (and safe) to turn a full body harness into a tree saddle.
