    After hearing about some of the close calls that happen while climbing...I think that if I one sticked as a climbing method I would also be tether'd in not just linesman belt...or does the tether hinder the climb while one sticking?

    In 87' or 88' I bought the brand new PSE Mach Flite 4 ...LOL...I used it for about 14 seasons then went to a matthews and last year went to the Elite Kure...lots of deer shot with that Mach Flite 4...now its at 34?...wo

    I think I paid 200 for my climbrights on here and 400 or 450 for the kiwis on here...I wanted to get rid of the couple lbs that the aluminum are heavier than the carbons...truth be told I would be better off if I lost a few lbs my own self...lol

    I used to use both tether and lineman belt...now I dont use the tether to climb...I do tether off before I climb onto my platform...I now use my rappel rope to tether and keep the excess in the backpack...rappelling is the coolest thing ...for me anyways...its faster safer and...

    I did modify them...I have very minimalist straps abd hooks...kind of patterned them off G2 Outdoors but even more minimalist...I am tethrd to the tree from the ground until I get back down...takes a minute to climb the tree so I cant see the use for all that 2" strapping buckles and clanky...

    I have a pair of aluminum climb rights...awesome pair and they weigh around 4.5 lbs...I have a set of kiwi carbons that weigh 2.25 lbs...both are awesome for climbing...
