Southern states with latest rut activity and deer hunting season
Georgia. Hunting season is typically middle of September through 2nd week in January. Rut is typically late November through mid December in some northern areas of the states and late October - middle November in the southern part of the state. Well, fells. It’s been pouring rain here in NW Georgia. My camera goes off and a buck is behind my house. Dressed in full rain gear I have managed to shoot my first bow buck, first saddle buck, and first buck for his competition. Pics to come. He is no booner, but he’s a damn good trophy for me... -
