    Rapelling with a munter

I use a 4 wrap Michoacan above the Munter, I run the Mich off of the bridge on my Recon and the Munter off of the Linesman loop. You can break the Mich under full load.

Climber Platform and Tree Saddle Combo

I used to bear hug climb with my Loggy in my younger days, very light to carry in, it has a seat, and I pretty much just released it and slid down the tree when done. I tried using the Loggy with the saddle like he did in the video but couldn't get much advancement on each move, maybe the angle...

Trophyline wingman or attaching a mission.

The top of my one stick is a Buck step, I usually put the Mission same height to the right of it for more standing area. I carry the stick rapped with the repel line in one hand and bow in the other, the Mission on the Molle belt is perfect for me. I don't know if I would feel comfortable one...

Trophyline wingman or attaching a mission.

You'd have to cam it over every move, doesn't sound like a good time. I put my mission on a Molle kidney belt and climb with a separate one stick.

    Another vote for one sticking

I had a problem transferring my weight off of the tether and Ropeman1 to the repel rope one night, if you don't have something to stand on it can be a problem

I climb on the repel rope because if i drop my stick or need to get down for some reason i can, i also pull my bow or stand up with it. All you need is a friction hitch like a Michoacan (one you can break under load) and a biner attached to a second bridge or LB loop with a Munter wrapped around...

    I tie mine like this

9mm line and 7mm cord, the Mich holds well and breaks easy even after being fully loaded, the pic reflects the repel mode. I wrap a Munter around a biner on my right linesman's loop while climbing in case the Mich doesn't grab. The Hunters bend also unties easily after it's been loaded. Thanks JRB!

The Munter (biner) is on the short bridge in the pic and the Hunter's bend and Mich (hand is in the way) are on the long bridge, tried to get a pic of the Munter on the Lineman loop but it didn't load.

I tie a Michoacan on the repel/ascending rope and attach it to the saddle bridge with a hunters bend so there's no biner to clank off of the one stick while I'm climbing. I do attach the rope to a Munter on my right Linesman loop so there is some redundancy, it also keeps the rope out of the way...

Attaching Predator to Saddle for Climb

I have a Molle kidney belt attached to my platform, I carry it and climb with it on, I tether in so I'm hands free and unbuckle it when I'm ready to attach it to the tree. My platform is larger and heavier than a Predator but it stays out of the way and feels like nothing carrying it in this way.

Getting Started With DRT Climbing - New York Saddle Hunter DRT Kit

I always carry paracord with me so if I climb up with the sticks and I like the spot I leave a loop up so I can DRT it later. DRTing with a foot loop is WAY easier and less movement than pulling and hip thrusting, I've pumped up a few times when the deer were close by without them knowing I was...

Getting Started With DRT Climbing - New York Saddle Hunter DRT Kit

I've been doing something similar to this with a Ropeman 1 (instead of hand accender) attached to the main line which is attached my tether via prussik (for adjustment) that I use for a foot loop

    Bolts in softwoods

I've been using a 3/8" bit on Hemlocks, drill them in about 2.5" (angled like mentioned) tap them in, and the 3/8" bolts seem to stay tight. I leave them in the trees for the season

    Fork for a Tree Saddle?

I made this to integrate with the Recon, the board is slotted so the belts of the saddle panel lock into it, the fork is a cut metal stake that I screwed and bolted to the board. No hip pinch or knee/ankle pressure, every bit as comfortable as sitting in a stand
