Lwcg 20” double sticks and wire aiders stacking

Hello- I think I made a mistake buying the wire aiders. I love that they hold open, they stand off from tree, they don’t blow in the wind. On the down side my sleek lwcg sticks lack the designed stack ability now. The metal Ferrell or “thing that attaches to stick and clamps on the wire” sticks...

    LWCG Stick Aider - DIY

This is an old thread but they sell vinyl covered steel cable by the foot at tractor supply. They have the ferrules and crimping stuff too.

    Arrow rest issues (QAD)

Don’t assume your pro shop cares more about your bow and set up than you. If you’ve tested the rest and it works you’ll need to tweak it. Sharing my story: I have a limb driven and I increased draw weight. I started to have problems and figured out I needed to move string out to the limb bolt. I...

    Does with fawns?

Since I bring my deer to a butcher it’s not cost effective to shoot fawns.

    Rattling techniques

I am a new hunter. I did this technique last year and got a nice six pointer! This was my first year saddle and I let a buddy borrow my plastic antler this year. I have flex tone I think. I tie a string between the two antlers. Clip the bow tow to the string. It’s good to rustle some brush while...

    Off Seaon YT Video Ideas

Show us some of Maine and what makes hunting Maine different and cool. Would love to see you choose a big piece of public, do a onx plan, get out there and video tape sign and show if you were right or wrong. Hats something you can do off season.

    Hawk helium

1.75” gaps means it never falls off. It’s not as tight as a cam buckle but I’ve hardly had problems with it. I think it’s better than metal.

    Hawk helium

I attached versa mini straps because I’m a knucklehead and bought the wrong size. I love it! Take off button, attached mini strap. Then I do a rope mod style wrap around button. It’s good because I can’t lose the strap and wraps nice with that bungee.

    Hunting Incident

What I find strange is the kid was sitting on a bench with his girlfriend. If there was a bench with a sunset view in one of my spots I think I’d remember where it was. Two humans on a bench wearing human clothes. Idk maybe the back of the bench could be brown and roughly size of a deer. I guess...

    Shooting from predator platform

You did the cam down trick? Angle up platform, step on top to jam it all the way down, step on platform to cam it down.

    What Happened? Failed Recovery

I can’t offer advice but I’m wondering with that heavy set up why not aim more forward towards the “magic v?” I’d imagine if you hit close to that circle the arrow didn’t slow down much if you were on the ground it could be 100 yards away.

    Bino Harness for Saddle hunting

I just use Sitka harness straps like suspenders they were $20. I had to replace metal rings with some cord I got at rei the metal was so loud it was annoying. Now they are silent.

New to Saddle hunting, Starting simple

When it comes to safety I’m not willing to skimp on cost. I don’t have the diy experience like many here but a hand stitched bed sheet seems like a strange concept.

Climbing trees with poison vines or just vines

The oils do kick around for awhile but sorry I don’t know how long. I was shocked watching hunting public hey were in Tennessee ward was leaning against a tree with poison ivy. Seems like so many great spots I go to 80-90 percent trees have poison ivy. There’s got to be something to that.

    Gutting a deer...

I did the same this year clearing brush with a pocket saw. Four stitches same. Debated the superglue...decided against it.

    Packings ideas needed

Put the pack next to sticks on the stand. Strap it down, careful to leave backpack straps on the stand free. I pack a small back pack, 3 30” helium’s, predator platform, all on the back of an alpz traverse.
