    Bino harness

I am still searching for the perfect Bino harness. The Original FHF was good but I did not like the way it opened and if I leaned to far forward while opened the binos feel out. But weight and comfort was great. I am now using the Marsupial with magnets. I like the way is functions. Way...

    Aero Hunter Kestrel Mods

Thanks for the pics. Always nice to see a complete setup. I specifically looked for a Kestrel because I wanted the quality build they are know for. I like the buckles and have no intention on changing them. As far as bridge I have used both rope and strap in the past and prefer the strap...

    Aero Hunter Kestrel Mods

Was lucky enough to score a good condition Kestrel. Right now the only thing I want to do is change out the bridge to the strap version they offered on the Flex if I could figure it out and get the material. Any other things I should consider?

23 Pounds - Just Platform, Saddle and Sticks

This is why all said and done a Light Weight climber like the Lone Wolf Assault hand climber is still a great option. The weight of 4 sticks just take away from the weight benefits of a saddle. If weight reduction is what u are looking for.

Anybody gone back to mobile stands?

Most of my hunts are done the same way. I use 3 full length LW sticks that I have added EWO double steps. An aider can get me a little higher if needed. For my handgun I use an old old old LW that is really light. Not sure what model it is. I mostly use my RCH but sometimes where the saddle.

    Can’t get comfortable

Late season hunts are tuff to stay hidden. Canopy is gone and it is very difficult to stay hidden. Trying to hide movement is extremely tuff. I rarely hunt out of a saddle late season. More like never cause my old skinny a%^ gets cold easily. The cold also amplifies noise. I probably...

    What's going on at AeroHunter?

Saddles are for hanging in a tree. You don't need to be a hunter to build a saddle. Just need to listen to what they need. Which some don't. lol

    Saddle use in Hang-on

Let me clarify. When I am in my Hang-on I want to sit in the seat and shoot out in front of me. Im not saddle hunting in this set-up. I currently use a RCH and run my Beal Dyna Glide under my right arm to my tether. Looking for connection points or ways to use the saddle instead of the RCH.

    Saddle use in Hang-on

Does anyone use their saddle while hunting out of a hang-on. I normally use my RCH. Not sure how I would connect to my tether while turning my back to the tree.

    Oplux as lineman’s belt.

I will never use a prussic on a LB. Ropeman 1 or Kong for me.

So I had a thing happen this morning...

I carry a daisy chain and a footloop with carabiner. Have it in the pack no matter what climbing method I am using. Never had to use it but I do test it occasionally
