    Wild Edge

I used them last season and bent several badly. On looser bark trees they were terrible but on the right tree they were great. I went back to Muddy's but may give them another go. When they worked they were my favorite. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Recon sizing

Small. I'm same waist. 6ft 200lbs. I'm in Texas so not much layering needed but I have plenty of room for adjustment. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Leg straps on method

Recon user here. I don't use them. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Recon sizing

I'm 6' 195lbs 33" waist and got a small. I couldn't imagine using anything larger. I went with Marc's suggestion when ordering. I was apprehensive as I'm not a small in anything but he was right. I'd see if he'll swap it out. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

What will you change/improve for next year?

I'm looking to start one sticking and rappelling down. Currently have Muddy pros but will likely pick up a Shikar or something similar in weight as well as rappelling gear. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    What boots for saddle platforms?

I've woren rubber boots on my platform before. I generally don't like them for lots of walking but for just standing there, I didn't notice a difference. Just my experience. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    H2 to Recon

Not form H2 but moved from a Mantis and don't regret it. The Recon is extremely comfortable for me. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Nutterbuster's Treehopper Recon Sling Video

Same here. I love my recon and consider it worth the wait but there were several missteps along the way that were frustrating. I bet he's just overwhelmed. I think if people go into this with realistic expectations, even if he sets unrealistic ones, they will be happy with the quality of gear...

    Leg straps

I used to on my mantis as I didn't want to cut them off and regret it. Got a recon recently which has removable leg straps. Removed them and haven't looked back since. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Nutterbuster's Treehopper Recon Sling Video

Mark mentioned he was receiving this feedback when I ordered. He recommended the small for me even though I'm a 33 inch waist. Glad he did, it fits perfect. At 195lbs I never thought I'd be a small in anything but it works. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Recon and ESS 2 panel saddle

The Recon has a rubberized coating making them quieter then the ESS if they hit each other, carabiner, ropeman, etc. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Switching positions

More than I'd like to. I can't seem to get super comfortable for long periods of time. I stick with the saddle for weight savings though. Not certain if I'd say it's way more comfortable than a treestand for me at least. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Nutterbuster's Treehopper Recon Sling Video

Gonna have my first hunt in mine tonight. I removed leg loops as well but like how you've used them and may try that. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Treehopper Recon Sling/Saddle

I think I'm going to give this a try. How many are you using and how high are you getting? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Treehopper Recon Sling/Saddle

Just got my saddle yesterday. Are you using as a ROS? Do you think you could use as a climbing method? I'm considering them. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Treehopper Recon Sling/Saddle

Received mine yesterday and spent a few minutes in the backyard playing around. At first glance it appears like a huge improvement over my mantis. I'm excited and don't regret my purchase. Quality is top notch. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Nutterbuster's Treehopper Recon Sling Video

Thanks for sharing. I've got an email to Mark. Pretty sure I'm ordering regardless but was curious. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Nutterbuster's Treehopper Recon Sling Video

Can you share the ETA on shipping? Are these in stock? I've been dealing with a Mantis for a couple seasons now and am contemplating pulling the trigger. I thought I wanted an H2 but this appears to be another good option. Thanks!

    Ultralight knee pad

What was comfort like compared to knee pads? I've got everything pictured and will have to give this a try. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Safety of Saddle vs. Tree Stands

This. I get the sentiment of the "saddle is safer" statement but regardless of method both require a great deal of personal responsibility on the climber. Neglegence with either method could result in devastating consequences. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
