Quick VS Delta Link and knots questions/options

Ouch $40 for a carabiner? Maybe that delta link isn’t such a pain in the ass!!

    Ar build

I just figured that it would be a worthwhile upper that I could use for both deer and varmints. In MI you can hunt coyotes at night with a gun under .270”. I’ve also been tempted by the .224 Valkyrie

    Ar build

I see a lot of “competition” barrels and chambers. Are they worth the extra money? I’m not entering any completions, but would like to kill a pronghorn at 700 yards. I’ve been looking at a 6.5 Grendel for a while

    Ar build

From what I’ve heard, it’s a great round out to 200 yards or so. Check out Bear Creek Arsenal. They are making some high power loads for the AR that might give you some extra range. Make sure you get the ones for the AR because they make some really potent rounds that you can only put in a bolt gun

    Question about bolts..

Are you guys talking about drilling the holes with the Treehopper hand drill or a power drill? Due to some shoulder issues it is hard for me to drill with the hand drills, but possible I guess

Lone wolf handclimber/ Saddle combo Part 3

That’s what worries me. I’m old and 3/4 crippled and not very agile

Lone wolf handclimber/ Saddle combo Part 3

Is the aider working for you? I tried using an aider but since it sits so far out I felt like I was swinging too much. Plus it’s tough for me to get up on the platform from an aider

Thanks for the information. I tried to search past threads because I figured that it had been addressed, but I didn’t find anything

    Hawk Heliums

My son just called me and said that one broke. I guess I should have posted this a couple of hours ago!

    Hawk Heliums

I just got a new set of Hawk Helium’s and am having difficulty separating them. Does the tension on the buttons relax a little over time? They a very difficult to attach together and to separate them? Can I do something to ease this while still having them secure for transportation?

    Eastern Woods Outdoors Custom Sticks

I am not meaning to sound like a smart ass, but why do you need 5000lbs rope on a cam cleat with a 275lbs working load?

    Madrock Safeguards on Campsaver

Camp saver says that madrock has discontinued the safeguard. Has anyone heard this or did the saddle guys just buy them all?

Very nice. Interesting line holder. I just ordered some of the line.

    First AR build

That is supposed to be a great gun for kids, women, or anyone not wanting the kick or muzzle blast of a .450 bushmaster and still legal in the straight-walled states

    First AR build

I’ve been wanting a 6.5 Grendel but am not sure if I would be better off building it or just buying an upper. By the time you buy the gauges, wrenches, vise blocks, etc., you might be better off just buying the upper. I have a .22 upper and a .450 Bushmaster, so this would probably be the last...

    Rappelling 101

What is suggested to get the rope out of the tree? I was using my HSS gear hauler, but it seems too stretchy. Would a Doyle’s strap hoist be better? I would use Paracord but am afraid of it getting tangled too often. I prefer a strap to a thin cord on the hoists because it’s easier to hoist your...

    Treehopper Drill and bolts

What do you guys mark your holes with so you can use the tree again? Especially in the dark
