    Worst fear

yeah no thanks, im allergic...not severely, but enough to where i would have a really bad time. When we hunted in Illinois, buddy of mine climbed up a tree and then when daylight hit he could see the huge hornet nest right above his head, needless to say, he didnt stay in that tree very long after.

    Louisiana Saddle Hunter's Thread

can only speak to JC Sonny out of those....good area to check out for sure, one of the biggest bucks ive ever seen was out there. That area in general i would say has a nice deer population. I would see multiple deer all over driving through there. JC is SUPER steep, maybe even more so than...

HFAS, USA Pro, etc - issues?

I wasnt super impressed when i got mine for my predator platform...you have to really loosen that hitch before you put it on the tree which does help tightening it. toe hooking it is also mandatory. Once set and im on it, its solid and handles side pressure but if you happen to hook it from the...

Anyone use John Eberharts scent control methods?

i think some guys are seeing these soft bumps and not even realizing they got busted and thinking their regimen is working and something else happened...I had a doe coming into my spot season before last and was on point to come right to me but she stopped about 45 yards from me. She wasnt super...

Anyone use John Eberharts scent control methods?

i do some of what he does, but to do all is just too extreme and too time consuming for me. we all know and its been hammered over and over that we will never beat a deers nose, but i do believe we need to try and reduce it as much as we can and pay attention to the wind. Dan Infalt doesnt do...

    Attachment rope management

i think wrapping them around your stick really is the best method so its already attached and its not one more thing you gotta fiddle with and find...if you wrap from top of stick and go around the stand offs to bottom, its really not too many wraps vs something like wrapping around the post...

help me out here with found sign

the tracks are larger than most i see in this area and just due to their proximity to these rubs i assume its the same buck. perpendicular access would be tricky but i will certainly re-assess that and see what i could do

Post season scouting, How's it going?

november also starts primitive season in most areas so the pressure would have no doubt picked up as well. that could mean for you, take off work in the early season and get some archery hunts in during the week with very little pressure

on my person every single day aside from your excluded items is my leatherman that just stays in my pocket and my glock 19 appendix carry.
