F in chat ... Dropped my new bow out of the tree and broke the sight..

Going to try just wearing it up as I climb next time. Probably only ways 10 pounds or so, shouldn’t be too much extra weight climbing. I use a rope (DRT) so weight is a little more of a factor climbing. Appreciate it though man. I ran over to the bow shop and got a sight on it. It’s good at 20...

Yeah, I was eyeing the spot hogs, my budget just couldn’t afford one at the moment. Hopefully I’ll just avoid dropping my bow 20ft on the future and can avoid this issue lol.

Hm, not super familiar with a bowline. I’ll have to learn it! I wrapped electrical tape around a lot of my accessory carabiners just to quite them down a bit, but yeah the less the better. Ha, sometimes the best lessons are mistakes I suppose.

Just got back from the bow shop with a née sight. A little too windy at the moment to get it dialed in much last 20, but I should have it ready to go tomorrow. Yeah idk, that may be the way to go moving forward. Just don’t want anymore weight I have to climb up tree with then I have to. I...

F in chat ... Dropped my new bow out of the tree and broke the sight..

Yeah, I think I’m just going to clip my bag into my climbing rope and then just clip some paracord onto my harness somewhere and pull my bow up with that. Hopefully won’t have to Many issues with tangling, but if so I may just start wearing the pack up when I climb. Just a little extra to huff...

Such a bummer. It was looking to be such a good morning. I got into my spot nice and quiet, didn't jump anything or spook anything. I got up to my platform, pulled my pack up that I had my bow attached to, was trying to get it unclipped from the carabiner. I was struggling a bit to get it off...

Do you guys think it would be safe to run a bridge this way?

it's been a minute since ive been on here, but yeah i came to that conclusion of ditching the opening bridge for the the bridge i tether into. ive been running two bridges. One really short one i use to climb with and then a second long one i use to tether in with a hunting height. ill probably...

Do you guys think it would be safe to run a bridge this way?

Not necessarily. It’s convenient for putting it on, but wouldn’t be a big deal if I couldn’t
