Last time I was through there was 1993 coming home from honeymoon (Outer Banks)...I could have sworn I heard banjos. :D:D:D
I only remember swamp on both sides of the road and never would have thought there was deer hunting there.
sorry, off topic
Not a used feminine hygiene product, is it ? :D :D
Know a buddy who's uncle used his wife's used ones as scent lures  I never hunted any area he had been in ;)
Been a few years ago now when I heard about this happening. I got on-line and ordered one.
Groove has a few cool options and a lifetime warranty. (already used once now)
I have the Mossy Oak one right now.
Had 12-15 crossing the dairy cow field at 136 and Hookers mill Rd a few weeks ago...was an odd sight seeing them there.
Use to see them up by Dublin Market when I hunted up that way near the Boy Scout property...been 25 years ago though. Have to stop and let the flock cross the street some...
I now see the video was 3 years old (so 2020-2021)
Everyone is trying to go lighter, and I was putting up a link for the tubing for anyone else...and thinking I might look into also ?
2018 ? IDK, but always looking to evolve.
A few years back on private property, I made a mock scrape (yes, I pee'd in it). Every animal that came through, squirrel, deer, fox, all checked it out and none were spooked. This was a residential spot I used to hunt.
Did a little searching and didn't see the sticks with holes, just fluted ones.
Did a little more searching and found LW uses 6061 aluminum.
Did some looking and found 6061 aluminum 1.250 x 1.250 x .125 6061 aluminum square tube at 36" for $15 each....plus shipping (may find locally ?) to make...
I use to hunt two reservoirs that are somewhat close to me, archery only, and had some good luck.
People walking, talking, horse riding, fishing, ETC, didn't bother the deer much and even help me a few times ;)
