BIGGEST BODIED BUCK OF MY LIFE!!!! MN swamp success

Sunday October 25th of this crazy year will hold a special place in my heart. My first time back bowhunting my family's land in over 3 years due to moving further away and pursuing deer on public lands and I connect with the biggest buck I have ever laid my eyes on!! This brute tipped the scale...

    DIY euro mount

Just keep boiling, it will come off trust me! Presoaking dead heads for a few days before boiling has always made the task easier for me. Since you're past that point just keep it at a low simmer with dish soap for a few hours continuing to top the pot off with water as it evaporates. Then I use...

I bought 3 different colors of yarn off amazon and just loaded the thing up with yarn all over. I then tried it on and pulled back my bow and trimmed what I needed outta the way.

    Ghillie suits

This is the only one I have ever tried but I think its great. stitch work on mine was really good and honestly the only buckle you mess with is the front one that connects by your collarbone cuz that's how you get the hood on and off. The buckles on the back and on the shoulders I don't even...

    OOAL Sticks

Was literally just doing some drawing and planning to see if I could machine something just like this. Safety obviously being the biggest concern, but I think its possible.

How did you get started with saddle hunting?

Saw an ad in a hunting magazine years ago for the trophyline that first sparked my interest and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Did some research but the idea faded pretty quickly and just kept hunting with my millennium treestands. Fast forward to 2016 when I decided to go back to school...

    Windy day scouting

By the sounds of it, I take it your on an out of state hunt? If that's the case my 2 cents is get out there! Can get away with a lot with wind like that so you can get nice and close to bedded deer. Which you will need to do in order to make a decent shot with a bow with gusts like that! Good luck!

    Hunting the MARSH

I second what Wolverine said. Always use vegetation to step on when its around and take your sweet time. I mess around with alot of bog where I live and hunt and I always find the sketchy holes when I'm not paying attention to every foot placement.
