Not all steps come with a nifty bag. My backpack just does not cut it because, having gear fall out on the ascent IS NOT COOL!
Solution: Construct a dedicated bag for the steps using only materials on hand.

My saddle cuts off access to any pockets, for a quick stash of the hands on a warm up. Gloves are a NO GO, as are those little chemical packets.

This is a good repost for all the new guys flooding the forum, and posting questions for stick modding lengths. Be aware of what you are trying to achieve with these mods.
Getting the most height out of your climb, on the least amount of stick is a formula...
Had a few sticks of conduit sitting around, and figured it should be good material for building a shooting platform. I really like the wild edge step design and think this can be easily reproduced in my lil fab shop. For the time being I will be working from that design.
