    Millennium L-110 help

Update: I called Millennium and they are sending me a middle section. On my home from work, I was going to head to Farm and home and ask for to either 1. get a substantial discount or 2. return the stand and head over to bass pro's or cabelas and buy one there. However I received a phone call...

    Millennium L-110 help

I am missing a section. Each section is 4'2" and the seat portion is 3' from top to the platform. I have it completely assembeled in my backyard and from the top of the seat to the bottom tip is 16'. Also there are 5 pairs of spring clips...one for the seat section to the top ladder and 4...

    Millennium L-110 help

I have had 190 acres for the past two years near my home and that's primarly all I hunt...so I am going to put a nice tall quality tree stand and I went with the millennium L-110. It's supposed to be 21' and I bought it as a display model. So I have been researching ladder stands and decided...

    How many pounds you getting

a 2.5 year old buck is on average about 140-160lbs live weight. Take guts out...roughly 30-40lbs. Hide and bones...another 30-40 lbs. Conservatively that's about 60-80lbs for guts, hide and bones. Then once you trim away the damaged meat from the neck and both shoulders then 33# is about...

    Newb to hunting ag fields

I hunt similar areas. Anywhere along the creek where they are crossing...15-20 yards away from those crossing. Also I'd place a stand smack dab in the middle of the section that runs between the two fields. Deer will skirt the field edges along with the edges of the woods prior to entering...

    Meat Grinders

Ok...so I just ground an additional 46 lbs of grind. It was partially frozen and for the first grind I could not keep up my my LEM. It is a .75 horse and it goes through the chunks like butter. Now for the second grind, it was slower but not unreasonable. My old grinder was a 1200 watt grinder...

350 legend and saddle makes a deadly combination

I just checked my trail cam and there is another 8 pointer walking past where I shot this one. Either way...I have another buck tag in my wallet...if he walks by me whether with arrow or bullet, he'll go for a ride if he gets in range.

WTB or Trade for Run & Gun Ultralight Hoist

Just looking to see if anyone has the run and gun ultralight hoist that you have but are not using. I got a decent buck on Saturday and would like to have a better system. Or I can trade something...I have a bunch of stuff...just ask.

350 legend and saddle makes a deadly combination

Actually I was able to salvage a lot of meat from the shoulders. The 180 grain bullet really didn't destroy the shoulder like a 350 grain slug from my 12 guage would have done. Just from the shoulders and neck I have 18.6 lbs of grind...and I'm still not done with the processing. I still have...

350 legend and saddle makes a deadly combination

This weekend is the opening weekend for gun season. At the end of last season I bought a CVA scout 350 legend and topped it with a Leupold CDS 3x9 scope. When I say this thing is a tack driver, I'm not exaggerating. I figured out that the gun loves the 180 grain bullets from winchester...three...

    Meat Grinders

I have the LEM .75 or #12 grinder big bite. So far I've ground up 4 deer and two hogs. It took all I could throw at it and did not slow down. I just have to make sure that I lubricate the plastic bushing with food grade oil.

    lightest gambrel system

Well in Illinois we cannot quarter. It has to be taken out whole. As far as hoisting a deer up...I have several issues with my body. Ten years infantry in the Marines and Army...25 years in Judo, hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. The first two martial arts I was the throwing dummy for the...

    lightest gambrel system

Looking for a gambrel system similar to the pack and pull but with a gambrel/spreader. Something that can fit in my pack and I can use it to break the deer down or simply assist with gutting.
