    tether question

    Yes it will. The trick is to walk away from the tree when pulling, do not pull straight down. This applies to any attachment method.

    I use the term "whitetail accurate" meaning if you can consistently keep your arrows in a 6" circle, in the "kill zone", no matter the distance, you will kill the deer.

    DAS Gen 1 50 lbs. @ 29.25" 30" Gold tip Hunter XT 610 gr. arrow 250gr. VPA double bevel. But like everyone advises, start with low poundage, and develop correct form.

    Does Anybody Hot Tent?

    This is deer camp, 20 ft dia. very easy to heat with a propane single tank, single burner. Half hour setup with 2 guys. Sleeps 3 easily with gear. Tentipi is the manufacturer, there are vents at the bottom for fresh air, do not run the heater at night, Wiggy's bags keep us warm.

    I unfortunately sat in one those stands years ago, and it was probably the most uncomfortable time ever in a stand. My ass and upper legs hurt and the seat was too close to the platform, it was only good as a "standing platform". The original owner figured that out and left it in the tree.....

    Get yourself an Alfa Tools short auger bit 1/4" hex shank part # AUG 361409, for your cordless drill. Use a collar on the bit to prevent drilling too deep, McMaster Carr # 9414T8, drill about 2.5" - 3.0" deep. As stated, make sure the bolts are GRADE 8, don't ask how I know.
