No official name yet. I was thinking, The Sloth. haha I'm not good at marketing.

    Saddle Concept

I agree that the inner loop and vertical webbing are what makes this unique. There is a noticeable comfort difference compared to a traditional saddle. Easiest way to get a feel for how this saddle works. Put your saddle on and pull on the webbing for you bridge as if your hooked to your tether...

Thank you sir. I'm always open to opinions. I came up with this to help alleviate the pressure from the webbing, mainly under my legs. I had tons of trouble sitting still last year in my single panel mesh saddle. After my first hunt this week I am very pleased with the results. I've heard great...

    Saddle Concept

Exactly, the "main" webbing is sewn like any other saddle with an overlap to form the continuous webbing. The "comfort" loop is sewn into the vertical webbing, which is sewn into the fabric and the main webbing itself. I've beat on it pretty hard for the last few months and have yet to find an...

    Saddle Concept

Thank you. I've put a lot of time and effort into this saddle! I lean more often but do sit for a few minutes just to give my legs a rest. I haven't noticed any need to adjust when transitioning from leaning to sitting. It has adjustment straps on the main webbing, if you loosen these straps...

I died a little inside when you said it looked bland lol. In all seriousness, you pretty much nailed it. The secondary bridge loop does prevent the saddle from pinching, causing the hot spots from the webbing. It also helps disperse your weight over the fabric more. I am a vendor and do make...

    Saddle Concept

Yes I have spent plenty of time in this saddle. I began working on it towards the end of last year. I came up with this design because the saddle I was using did just that, dug into my legs. After a few hours of sitting it became hard to sit still. I was busted a couple of times because of this...

    Saddle Concept

Hey everybody. I've been sitting on this for awhile but figured I would just put it out there. This is a saddle I've been working on for a few months now. The concept being the additional bridge loop sewn into the vertical two inch webbing helps relieve the pressure of the main two inch webbing...

The o ring is great! Does it eliminate the metal on metal sound? Also jealous you found the gold one.

The c-iv and canyon elite have worked great for me. Not one slip with either. I think you're talking about the alpine butterfly? It is just for redundancy. Figured the tag end of the tether is just hanging there, might as well use it. I used to put a figure 8 on a bite on the end. I like the...

I haven't had an issue with my quick link slipping down on my tether, didn't like it on my foot tether. I always seemed to bang it into my rope man when moving up or down. For my foot loop I'm just using a sewn runner, 24" end to end. I've got to try repelling, it just looks fun!

    Kong Slyde

From what i read the smaller 8mm rope, instead of cinching down and holding with friction could slip past itself. If that makes sense? I just took their word for it honestly. I will give it a try next time I'm out.

    Kong Slyde

Thanks man. I've seen it's only for 9-10mm rope. I read on a rock climbing forum about a guy using it with 8mm and it did slip. I do have some oplux, just never felt the urge to try. I could check next time I'm out. As far as rating goes, it's stamped kg2500 on one side. It's a little more...

    Kong Slyde

Yeah let me know how it works for you. I like this setup because it's just easy to adjust when you need. Makes the climb more consistent for me. If that makes sense? Plus you cant really beat that price!

    Kong Slyde

[emoji846] I just made one over the weekend. More about the two tether climbing, but it does show how I use it. I'll post the link anyways. I could also do a close up video of the Slyde. Fyi I'm not one for talking into camera's, so bear with me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Kong Slyde

I've been using the Kong Slyde for a couple of years now. I personally use it on my tether. I two tether climb and it's worked great for me. Easy to adjust with one hand, once weighted it is solid. Good for 9-10mm rope. All aluminum, rated for 2500kg. I use some shrink tube and a couple...

    New guy from ne Florida

First year saddle hunter and FL public land hunter. Currently using the kite from aero hunter. Have learned a lot just from lurking on the site for a few months, lots of great information. Needless to say I’ve got a lot to learn about hunting public land here in Florida, but I’m up for the...
