    This machine any good?

Update: I scooped this thing up for $60 its a Kenmore from the 40's. Model 117-959 I think is what it is. All parts were there and it works like a fricken champ! Easily has handled everything I've thrown at it so far!

    DIY Two Panel Saddle

I had a roll of tubular webbing hanging around and decided to see what I could do with it. I’ve been thinking about a two panel method style saddle for awhile now and figured to give it a go. I am by no means the prettiest and far from a professional at sewing but it’s functional. I have done...

    Step Slinger!!!!

I like the zipper side cinch strap. That'll keep the steps from pulling away and falling. Nice work man. Seriously. You could sell the crap out of that.

    DIY Utilibridge

You could use it. If its a few years old and has been put through the elements some I'd think twice about it. I snagged some of this off amazon and used it all season as my bridge...

    DIY mini platform

That is money right there! I love my primal steps! I use one or two for a platform and a lot of times leave my spurs on. This would allow me to ditch a step

PSA - You need a first aid kit

Man I appreciate this response. I will be sure to have a kit with me this up coming turkey and deer season. I was never blind to the opportunity of **** happening, but I see this more clearly now.

    Replacement Gaffs

My steel kleins have pole gaffs and my first time trying them out I felt safe and stable. I almost exclusively climbed with my spurs most of the season and I fricken loved it. I hunt most private anyways and my spurs are my go to. Spurs and 2 primal steps as my platform and I'm good to go!

    Wild edge steps

Toss the side the bent into the tow hitch of a truck or something 'strong' and bend that bish back! My cheap primals bend sometimes, but I just bend em back. No issues so far....obviously if the arms crack or something then you have an issue.

Your quality is undeniable!! Very nice man

    Step Slinger!!!!

I made this little cinch sack for my primal steps that I can clip to the side of my saddle while climbing and strap to my pack while moving. I can easily pull a step out or place it back in. This was more of a practice project for me, but it came out pretty useful and packs the straps quite nicely.

    Sewing Machine Help

You're being very thorough in your research and questions. My DIY is probably over kill with my stitching, but it's easy to just keep adding more tacs. I really focused on the anchor point where the ends on the main 'frame' of webbing connected. Obviously if that fails the whole saddle fails...

    Sewing Machine Help

Like the long 'V' patterns on your old hunting harnesses. Mimic that and you should be set!
