I’ve decided to go with the rope mod ok my LW sticks. How much feet of rope are y’all using per stick? I’ll be using 8mm static rope from a local rock climbing shop.

    I gave in....Crocs

im a fan of crocks, they are comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Now, I’ve have/had a hunting buddy who recently got a pair of “men’s” Ugg’s. No way would you ever catch wearing those.

    Bridge

My tether was a little higher than usual so I’m thinking that had played a part in it. This is the first time it has happened but it’s also the first time I’ve drew in an actual deer and not practice. I’ll have it a lower next time and be a little more cautious.

    Bridge

This is my first year using a saddle and it has been great. I drew on my first deer today and during the draw cycle it hit my bridge. I quickly realized it and was able to avoid and come to full draw without spooning the deer. However, he managed to stay about 15 yards out of bow range. My...

    First saddle sit

Man that’s good, they have to pack much better than 4sticks. My sticks attach to the outside of my pack and carry good but if it’s thick they do get caught on limbs and briars occasionally.

    First saddle sit

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I either have it to right and it want cam over or I loosen it up, it will cam over but doesn’t bit the tree when I put weight in it.

    First saddle sit

I agree with 100%. How do you like the WE steps? I am borrowing a step and perch from a buddy but I am having a hard time getting it to hold onto a pine.

    First saddle sit

Had my first sit in my mantis this morning and it didn’t disappoint. I didn’t release an arrow but did see a shooter, a die, and a small 4 point. Definitely a first for me on highly pressured public land.
