I don't know, how many social media reactions did it get and what's the rate of monetization? /s

Sweet cooler! I might have to make some of these for Christmas gifts.

Not at all. Completely different feel and sound.

I haven’t had it out in the cold, but I ordered a sample of Ultra 200 fabric from Ripstop by the Roll and that stuff is sweet. Doesn’t seem like it would be overly loud, waterproof, feels soft and extremely durable.

Not right now. When I go out I generally just do two nights. The extra room is handy when I need to pack in water, and I expect it will be useful for hauling my daughter’s gear when she starts accompanying me into the backcountry this summer.

Since I haven’t seen much else mentioned in this thread…. I bought a K4 with a 7200 bag when it was released. The highest compliment I can give it is that it’s like a well-refined Kifaru frame that is simpler and more comfortable. I have only worn the combo for about 30 miles so far, but am...

MR PopUp or Eberlestock MainFrame? Or budget option?

I should add that I still use that water bladder without any issues.

MR PopUp or Eberlestock MainFrame? Or budget option?

When I had mine, I used a 3L Platypus Big Zip. I recall it being a tight fit for that size, but it worked--I get thirsty. 2L would have fit even better.

Sharps' Folly or The Value of Kifaru

I love it, man! I think the size is perfect for the purpose and having your stuff immediately on hand while out turkey hunting. It's so much fun seeing the specialized solutions people come up with to suit their hunting needs and style.

    Enclosed Binocular & Rangefinder Pouch

Fixed that for ya! :tonguewink: Thanks for the kind words! I'm using an existing Marsupial harness right now, but that's only because I haven't made my own yet. Overall, it works well, but I find the sides of the straps rub my neck if I don't have a collar of some sort on my shirt/jacket. I...

    Enclosed Binocular & Rangefinder Pouch

That sounds really handy! I couldn't bring myself to leave my optics exposed to the elements though.

    Enclosed Binocular & Rangefinder Pouch

Thanks! For stretchy fabric, only putting the absolutely necessary amount of tension on the fabric (front, rear, side-to-side) is important. I should have backed off pressure on the feet much earlier to prevent the neoprene from elongating. After using a Rick Young bino case, I never gave...

    Enclosed Binocular & Rangefinder Pouch

I posted this on Rokslide last night, and figured I would share here as well with additional notes--someone else might find this useful for saddle hunting. Axiom 1: I need binoculars for hunting Axiom 2: I need a rangefinder for hunting Problems: I don't really like juggling separate...

That came together quite nicely! I especially like the color combo. Which rivets did you buy for that hook?
