How do you carry your thermacell?

What is the difference between the old and new styles? I'm not sure which I have, but I've liked it for what it is, and it has pockets for spare fuel and pads. Instead of using the clip on the thermacell unit, I usually carabiner it to something

    2024 fishing thread

The kiddo didn't wanna wake up and go with this morning, so I took my dog with. He's never been on the ice before, so the entire process confused him, and he wasn't sure what to do about these fish I kept pulling in. Caught a whole mess of sunnies, not a bad day fishing

    2023 Fishing Thread

Just been catching up, I've apparently missed the heyday of this thread. I picked up a cheapo lifetime yukon 11ft 6in kayak last year from Walmart in November for like $325. Heck of a deal. I don't have a vehicle capable of towing a boat right now, so I found an alternative. I found myself a...

Went to the opening week of the guided ice fishing season for Lake of the Woods, near the Canadian border of Minnesota, on Thursday. There was a ton of houses out, and they were chipping at ice heaves with chisels and picks to get more further out. Caught myself a nice mess of saugers and a...

Anyone know how to make adjustable web bridge without sewing?

while not "fully adjustable" i grew to prefer using a sling for a bridge on my saddle. depending on how you loop it through your bridge loops you can set it in a few different configurations using a carabiner. this makes the bridge openable, and you no longer have to step through a bridge with...

Another Cold Weather Boot Option That's Very Affordable

just found this thread, been wearing my N1B's for 2 years in Minnesota winters now, and like Ricky said, once it gets below freezing and the snow is drier, these boots are the best i have found in my 40yrs of MN winters.
