Where to go after this guy?

Speaking of Maysville, have you been out to White Oak River game lands this year? Used to go a lot but since they logged it last year I haven’t been. Any intel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    More than one layer?

So this may be a dense question, but if scentlok is as effective as it’s claimed to be, why would anyone need more than the base layers? I get the double redundancy thought process, but to me, if it’s that good you shouldn’t need a full outer suit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where to go after this guy?

So I saw a beautiful buck this morning in an area that I can hunt. I’m a newb so I’m looking for input on which side of the road to go after this guy. The star is where I saw him @ 5:30 in the morning, the arrow is the way he was facing. So I’m assuming he is heading back to his bedding area...

    Competing with dog hunters

I’m in Jacksonville. All the game lands allow dogs here, for the most part. I’ve pretty much secluded myself to hunting on Lejeune, but that has its own issues. Only thing that seems to help is walking deeper than the dog runners are willing to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Competing with dog hunters

Thanks guys. I don’t have a problem with their hunting style. I just know my chances of bagging a deer are significantly reduced when all the deer are running Mach 2 through the woods. I think I’ll take y’all a advice and set up way earlier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Competing with dog hunters

So I’m a very novice hunter. I only have public land available to me in eastern NC. My question to you all is how do you compete with dog hunters? It’s like the Wild West on a weekend on public land with dogs running. Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
