Not really for saddle guys, but the news just out. ASTM tested, but doesn't say TMI certified. Wonder if it is something they are working on. Water jetted 6061 aluminum, not cast. Which makes for super clean edges Looks to be fairly thin. Curious as to how much flex it has. He did put the cable mounting points out towards the corners. So, it may be a non-issue. Not sure whether I like the sizeable holes towards the front corners. Could have used an additional supporting ribs, and the "bow holder" through hole is huge, IMO. Prob something you get used to....The platform leveling design looks to be copied from Field & Stream brand stands. Hopefully there's no patent enfringement there.
May have bought my mission platform too soon. Nice looking. Love the color.

The D'Aquisto stand platform for comparison. No voids towards the front, support ribs to the front corners and smaller "bow holder" through hole.

If a 16" wide x 29" deep hangon that weighs less than 10lbs had existed before I found saddles, I may have gritted out a little back pain in exchange for something that fits inside my profile walking through the woods. How this took so long to be a thing is crazy to me.

I couldn’t agree more, my biggest problem with stands has always been the width and brush slapping the whole way in.

Any beast stick owners out there think they know how the sticks are going to pack on there, there ad makes it seem like they found a way better than a bungee.

Looks like Still have to go center post ... what did we gain

They’re sharp as all get out, curious to see how they pack w/the stand ( like a giant treble hook). This is coming from a guy that likes them....

Intriguing. Went into saddle hunting this year and really like it. Made my own beast sticks pretty easily and love them so far.

The new .5 and beast stand have me considering a lightweight stand as a comparison to saddle hunting. Would be similar in weight since I use the predator xl after selling my DIY’s.

Really cool looking, without using it, seems like my favorite hang on based upon specs, Dan's abilities, and general looks. It will definitely be at least 500 bucks. If I used this and 4 Tethrd sticks and packed minimally and used the stand as the pack, then it would be about the same weight as my current saddle setup. I'd be carrying a cool grand on my back though just in stand and sticks, I would be nervous about my truck getting broken into.

PS I think Dan doesn't lie about the weights either.

Why so negative Burk? At least wait for reviews to see how it is.
I’m not really in the stand market anymore but might get one to replace my Alpha. At half the weight with similar specs it’s worth a look. Good to have options.
. Not negative just don’t see gains. It’s narrower than an assault same length. Similar stick stacking method to og lone wolf. bow holder not visibly there. Shorter seat than lone wolf, smaller seat size than lw. 75 less max pound rating than lw... so yes while it’s lighter what did I gain?

and yes I compared this to an assault if your carrying an alpha different arguement but even if you are carrying an alpha your
Losing a lot

16” width, at less than 10lbs, that a 6’+ person can sit in without their feet hanging off. Yes, some tradeoffs for the big fellas, but it can’t be perfect - us tall skinny folks have been forced into buying Big and tall crap. We need a win every now and then!
