2 blades, who shoots them?

How many folks shoot a fixed two blade double bevel out of their compound? I shot them when I lived out West where blood tracking wasn’t as important(since you could see several hundred yards in any direction) as it is back in the South. I know that every shot is different and blood isn’t predictable, just curious how many folks shoot them.

I switched to Iron Will wides last year. Every one of them dropped in sight since they seemed to not even know they had been shot.

I’ve always shot Magnus stinger 2 blades. Blood trails haven’t always been the best, but not terrible if you go slow and pay attention. I’ve recovered all my deer so far, except one sadly…. But I believe that was because I didn’t do my part and I think the shot was high.

I made the switch to IW single bevels last year. I shot 12 deer in various states, weather conditions, and impact location on animals. I watched all die within sight. Including a buck that was quartering hard to me. Went through the shoulder like it wasn’t there. I would like to add sometimes the blood trail wasn’t very impressive. Compared to some of the crazy mechanicals. Yet it didn’t matter since they all died within 50-60 yards.

I’ve always wanted to try some Simmons, but having to sharpen that curved blade scares me off.

Use a ceramic rod, super easy to sharpen. They’re good heads, but don’t expect to be blown away by the quality. They don’t use the best steel ever, but it’s pretty decent for the price

Does IW make an actual two blade? Or just 2 w/ the bleeder blades?

I shot the IW 125 wides one season. I won't bore you with all the reasons I sold them on ebay but I don't consider Iron Will 2 blade heads unless you're shooting the buffs.
My default over the years is true 2 blade heads. I love them.

I’ve always been skeptical about bleeder blades. 2 blades have always shot great for me and I’m worried the bleeders won’t. I also feel if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it… so maybe I should just stick to my Magnus two blades and not let curiosity get me lol.

Your $35 Stingers kill them just as dead as Iron Will $120.00 broadheads.
Don't change a thing.

I shoot the Day Six Evo 125g DB with 1/2" bleeders since last season...I used to shoot the Grizzlystik Samurai but had a horrible issue with them rusting extremely fast in Florida's excessive humidity. No issues at all with the Day Six steel and they are extremely sharp and easy to strop back after a shot/kill.

Before going to 2 blade single bevel broadheads I shot Magnus Singers and then Magnus Stinger Buzzcuts, 100 grainers. I felt the Buzzcuts with the bleeder blades worked better for me. I did have some broadheads get damaged, but the deer were dead. For a lightweight fixed blade head, they are very good.
