2 Tether Climbing System (2TC) Leg Loop Build Video

Are you using an attachment to put on the grose grain? I can never seem to get it quite as even when folding by hand.

Yes I have the swing away binder. It was about $40 but it’s saved me many of hours. One of the best investments I’ve made for the sewing machine.

Looks awesome! I need to get one of theose large self healing cutting boards. Almost as costly as a dang saddle!

They’re not cheap but they are nice. If you get a rotary cutter I’d suggest the smaller blade one. I believe it’s 45 mm. I have both the bigger and smaller and the bigger does not work as well. Also the fiskars one works much better than the wescott.

Gonna buy a swing away binder today. I do have rotary cutters. They are a must have.

Unless you spring for a manufacturing custom one, they're all pretty cheaply made. One thing to watch for is clearance--the straight binders tend to have low clearance for layers. The right angle ones are better. You may be able to get a dedicated plate and foot for your new machine....

Thanks! Im researching now. Dedicated plate would be nice.

Also, there are 25 and 26mm sold as 1" binders. I tend to get better results with the 25mm ones.

This should be compatible. The only issue I've encountered swapping out needle plates like these is that sometimes you have to limit your stitch length slightly to avoid interference.

This is the one I have. Not sure how it compares to others but it works great for what I’ve needed it for.

Looks identical. My experience is that most of the generic parts on Amazon and eBay are nearly all the same, and probably come out of the same Chinese factory

I’m sure they are. I was just going to get the sailrite one for the same money but then I would have had to pay shipping.

I made one last night that was too small for my fat legs. This is the upsized one I finished tonight. I’ll probably work on the tethers tomorrow night and possibly test this weekend.

Do you make any leg loops to sell

I’d consider it. I’d suggest hitting up Jerry gross’s first. I followed his design from his YouTube video. I believe he sells them. If he can’t help you out I’ll gladly make one but I will not try to sell his design unless he can’t help you out.
