20 inch hawk helium’s at Midway USA

I would take off a good one and compare to a bad one. I'm sure it doesn't take but a little tiny bit to change that angle a lot. Could also be some extra material in the groove of the post causing the issue.

On mine the hole is definitely drilled in the wrong place on the step. Causes it to not open all the way.

Also have this going on on one of the 8 standoffs. Quick fix with a file, but still.744BE25C-E275-4605-BFBE-56D298937889.jpeg

I think hitting the step with a dremel or angle grinder where it contacts the post will still work. Like gator said its probably not much, like 1/16" or 1/8 max.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Not impressed with the steps. Some are angled some aren't. I can probably fix them with an angle grinder/Dremel. I guess the old saying you get what you pay for...

Anybody experience this besides me? My first set of hawks. Maybe I'm just nitpicking View attachment 28882View attachment 28883View attachment 28884

Just put mine together and they’re just like yours.

I'm taking mine apart to paint and they are full of these too. Looks like they grinded of some slag and left it inside. Managed to one shake one out but 3 of the 4 sticks are still rattling like damn maracas...nice and stealthy. Haha f my life

Did anyone who bought the camofire deal have to sign for their package? I was hoping to be in on the party today too but instead got a delivery exception for not being home. (As if I could go anywhere?) Thinking the driver was at the end of the day and just said f-it to the last few deliveries... Weird.

Just got mine today. No signature required for mine.

Fedex is the only company that I've ever had do that, but it's fairly often.

I was in the shower. Thought the po-lice was knocking on my door. Hoped out in a towel in time to see the Fed-ex truck backing down the driveway. Opened the door to stop him and the box fell on inside.

I don’t see any of the mentioned issues with my sticks from midway

Steps appear consistent and no rattling noise at all. Guess maybe I got lucky

Did you get that paint pattern by just laying branches over the sticks before you sprayed them?

Used a base of dark green, and sponged on grey, tan and dark brown. (green tan and brown are your typical camo colors)

I just got my sticks yesterday and didn't see any problems with them. For those using the supplied straps, how are you wrapping the straps to carry and still allow easy stacking?

Mack’s PW got their shipment in this week. Got the email yesterday that my order shipped.
