Eh its only because his season started before mine. Plus i have to ask wheres the bear in that one @redsquirrel lol!! Congratulations!!

Hey all, checking in for team 2. I live and hunt in Kansas. Mainly the NE, however this year I drew an either species rifle tag and may head out west and see what I can find.

I took my 2 youngest kids out for youth opener last weekend, my daughter with bow, son with rifle. She didn’t get a shot at anything in range, but my son knocked over a decent doe last night. It was a great start to the season with nice cool temps for a change!
O I almost forgot, my archery season starts the 17th. I work an hour from home, so I’ll be mainly a weekend warrior mainly between two properties of 500ish acres.

I am. We did one last year as a team on a private thread. It was nice to keep up with the team thru the season. I also wouldn't mind it being a public thread so others can read along and comment.

Can't wait, I'll be in the woods this weekend, got some work to do and I'll be checking the cameras, but our season doesn't start until the end of the month

I live in NC but don't really have a place to hunt quite yet - my property is going to need some work. Our opener was this past weekend, but I wasn't out. Will see if I can slip in something but likely have to wait for VA. I lease in VA and I'll have a youth weekend 9/29-9/30 then archery opener is 10/6. Think I saw some Mississippi guys.... Anyone been out yet?

Mine opened last Friday but it’s rained everyday since, I’m cranking out side work now so I’m free when it’s good. I’ll still sneak out & get on the board
