Sorry to say I wasn’t. And wasn’t aware of the event. Need to check out the site more often for stuff like that. Where did u have it in MD?

We had it in Ellicott City, Hollowfield area of the park.
I'll have to be on the lookout for that next year. that's some urban hunting for sure. I've got a cousin west of DC with a wall of big deer he's kill in the DC area. No one would ever know b/c he's definitely not into sharing

My area has changed in the last 20yrs for the bad. Most of the woods and fields are long gone. The only big woods parcels ( 600 acres lol) left are state parks and water sheds. They are the only spots i can kinda get away from noise etc and hunt "wild" deer. Even though i don't use corn or cameras, my suburban hunting spots produce nice bucks but are starting to bore me. My goals are shifting more to bigger public lands now. Should be an adventure.

If you want big public, North PA is hard to beat. I live between 50k acres of public and thats a drop in the bucket

Yea that is big woods! In the end ill never go to far too hunt, let alone out of state. More than enough deer here to keep me busy. With all my other hobbies and interests, i can barely get it all in close to home. Merry Xmas

I grew up in Cameron county. I know exactly what you’re talking about. Miss it back at home when the leaves are changing.
