Looks like this is team 6!

Just an introduction, I'm out of michigan, first year in a saddle, first year in the contest, first year I've saved some vacation to hit the woods outside of gun season, probably be 80% public unless I get the right conditions to hunt my back woods. Sitting in a kestrel with WE knaider swaider. Fair warning I will be doing some still hunting while getting to know all the pockets of the public but I'll get up in the saddle whenever I can. On public I plan to access with 16' canoe to get to some remote areas.

Good luck to everyone. Look forward to watching it unfold.

2nd year in a saddle just hoping my saddle shows up before season if not I’ll have to be in a climber or hang on till it shows up. Unless a team member had an extra size 2 saddle to send me :). I’ll be hunting 98% of the time on public land in Alabama.

I will take our odds with this group. After all we have the Atlanta suburb serial killer. I’m hunting a 300 acre lease in VA and season starts Oct 5th. I live in NC and season here opened already but I don’t hunt here really. I have spent all offseason renovating a camper to park in VA vs prepping but hopefully I’m taking pics of my deer with the camper in the background too LOL. Lots of deer there - and I have some decent vaca time left. Good shooting everyone

Whats going on team 6!!! Lets get this done lol!! Im from Connecticut my season started today. This marks my 10th season in a saddle and 6th as a sole saddle hunter. I wish you all well and safe happy adventures this year. Lets let the games begin!! Go team 6!!!

Good luck team 6, I'm in Ohio hunt allot on public, but do have a couple small farmers here around the house to hit after work. Been saddle hunting quit a few years.

Whats up guys!!! I cant wait to get this party started. My first hunt will be the Ohio opener on the 28th. This will be my first season in the saddle and I will be hunting a mix of private and public in my home state of PA and Ohio this year. Unfortunately, i did not draw my Kansas tag but i got a point for next year!

I see we got @huck72412!!!.... we better put up, so he can keep his crown! Shoot Straight boys!!!

Back for my 4th or 5th saddlehunter Deer contest. Hoping to make it 4th year in a row with a deer from the saddle. Just found out I lost access to some decent private by me so will be a public land warrior for the most part this year, which means the saddle it’s getting a workout.

Glad to see another Michigander on the team (no offense to anyone else, except that maybe to the Ohio guys LOL... j/k). I hunt St Clair County and am hoping to take my first public land deer and also a deer off my newly minted food plot behind the house on my 4 acres.

Team 6, we are officially on the board with a Wisconsin opening morning doe harvest.

. I’m on the left and my brother on the right on our family farm in central Wisconsin.

Another Michigander resident here. This is my 11th season out of a saddle and first year in the contest. As previously mentioned I hunt Wisconsin as well as Michigan (southwest). This should be another fun and productive year out of the saddle. Can’t wait to start hearing/seeing the success stories from the rest of you crazy people that hang from a tree with a rope.... Fuel the #bowhunting fever

Way to go man congratulations.

Congrats on the doe! This is my third year hunting from a saddle. I'm also from Michigan - NW lower peninsula. I hunt about 50% public, 50% private. Looking forward to the season!

Took a climb today, trying to do it at least 2-3 times a week up down and 5 arrows in the target. 2 weeks left until michigan kicks off. Tried cain method as I feel like my knaider swaidering is a little clunky.

Fyi I was aiming for top center of the target, center is kind of blown out.

Stay sharp guys!

Long time Lone Wolf guy and short time saddle hunter. Can't wait to watch our tally. I primarily hunt public, but have a large 1k acre private area as well (lower quality deer than the river bottoms here). Hunts planned for sure in AR/KY and up in the air on MO, LA, TX. Should get a lot of sits in this season!

I hunt only public land in Minnesota. I almost always hunt the wet stuff and have been hunting out of a saddle since 2003. The Minnesota season started this past Saturday. I was only able to get a short sit in opening morning before I had to leave for a work conference. I won't get out again for a week or so but plan on taking a bunch of vacation so I can rack some points up for team 6.

I wanted to say that is really cool that you guys have a century farm! We have one in our family, which we were told was the oldest continuous working farm in Cumberland Co. PA.

We are in the 5th generation of that farm which is pretty cool and holds a special place in our hearts! Sounds like your farm is in the same boat for your family

Here is the action cam clip from my doe harvest. I shot her at 20 yards from a mantis saddle on the Predator platform directly behind where I was tethered in.

First of many videos to come as I’ll be building some content #bowhunting fever on YouTube and Instagram throughout the season.
