I saw three deer around my stand on that afternoon sit. I was posted on an inside corner off a fallow field between a wooded/brushy creek drainage and apples. At that convergence of the inside corner, creek drainage etc. it is very brushy and the deer skirt that corner, its a great pinch. Prior to this deer coming in, a fork-spike came in and I wasn't even completely settled in yet, my bow was still on the ground. I let him pass on his way to feed and I finished getting set up. About five minutes later that 3 point came running back right under me. He never blew or anything and settled down and worked his way back toward bedding. About 20 minutes later two deer came through where that forky walked earlier. the first was a doe and I thought this was a doe too. The deer stopped with its head behind a tree offering a nice shot. I figured I'd put a doe on the ground. Upon the shot I noticed his spikes.
