2020 Broadhead choice?

Does anyone here shoot dirt nap DRT broadheads? I got some and I’m going to try them out this year, hopefully they’re a good head!

What I've shot ever since they came out, 100gr Jackhammers. Have recently seen the reviews of the Black Hornet Ser-Razor and really want to try these. Hip surgery got in the way this year, but next summer I will be playing with the Hornets.

The failure of the 100gr Jak-hamrs is what pushed me to tune my bow to fixed blade flight. I never knew any better. Switching this year to 125gr Black Hornet Ser-razors with 100 gr in the shaft.

Slick Trick Grizz Trick 100 gr.
Sevr 1.5" 100 gr.
Sevr 2.1"' 100gr.

With insert (12.1gr.) and Fact weights (40 gr.)I will have 152 grains up front on Gold Tip Velocity Pro 300 arrow shafts. Total weight 465 grains at 275 fps out of Hoyt Carbon Spider Turbo at 62lbs, 30" DL.

This is a good compromise of speed, trajectory, FOC, and momentum.

125g solid legends for me. 175g grizzlystik Ak for my son. His first season with enough draw wt to hunt so set him up right.

After much debate and hours of Youtube reviews I final bought some broadheads.

150gr kudu contour plus and
145gr Steel force phat heads

Ser razor 125 gr or I just ordered tooth of the arrow 175gr to mess with this year

165 grain Simmons Tiger Sharks unless I change my mind before season, which is possible. Waiting on my Stay Sharp system to show up to get them good and sharp. The Rada sharpener gets them pretty sharp though.

Found a deal on some gently used 100 grain Black Hornets and snatched them up. Think I will put them on the 340 spine Axis with 100 grain inserts. One problem I'm having with the 165 grain field points, to match the Tiger Sharks, is that they do not play well with my bag target because they are wider than the arrow. They are a pain to pull out and I haven't found any others in 165 grain. I figured with the Black Hornets I can use the 100 grain field points I already have and they won't tear up my bag target. Total arrow weight should still be mid 400 grains. Also picked up an 18-1 target today for broadheads. There is a $20 Rinehart rebate right now.

Black hornet 125 ser razor most likely...or vintage muzzy 125 phantom...or slick trick 100s...or g5 Montec 100s shooting arrows with 100 grain or 150 grain inserts....#game changer #darts lmfao

Well I just finished at the shop today and made a total change. Switched from 100 grain Grim Reapers to 75 grain inserts with a 150 grain Kudu BH. Loved them. First time shooting fixed and they actually flew right. Helps to see a professional for once.

Steelforce Traditional 225gn single bevel for my longbow. Going to try them on my compound also but I already have 125gn Tooth of the Arrow 4 blades for it. We'll see...
I shot my Kansas buck last year with a “tooth of the arrow” broadhead, not a lot of blood trail, but dead in 35 yards, so hard to complain. Arrow went about 15 yards past the deer, good penetration! Lol
