2020 Broadhead choice?

Well, I lied. Bought some Kudu Coutour pluses and I think I am sticking with them. I have some arrow building to do over the next week but on my test arrow they fly great. FMJ 300, 75 grain brass insert, 25 grain Iron Will, collar, pink Zinger (6 degree) on the backside. I only shoot animals out to 35 and this one flew great out past 40. More testing to come.

How do you like the Zinger's? I'm really thinking about picking some up, will be the first time I used fletchings I didn't glue on myself in many many years.

Only shot maybe 20 shots so far, but I can't notice any difference to be honest. I just ordered more today, as I split the last order with a guy at work and don't have enough to finish my arrows. I have the 4 vane, 6 degree ones.

NAP thunderhead 100gr. Tried 3 different type of mechanicals and all failed. Probably because of human error but I dont have confident in them right now.

200g GrizzlyStik Samurai w/ 100g insert. Bought into the single bevel and higher foc advantage. Overkill? Maybe. But my slicktrick last year barely poked out the opposite side of the hide on a 20 yard slightly quartering away shot. Don’t wanna risk that on a bigger bodied buck this year.

Signed,

A Kool-aid Drinker

Anyone have any experience with the day six evo 1 1/4? I have them but having mixed results making them fly right.

I'm running 150gr. Magnus Stinger Buzzcuts w/ Victory 95gr. inserts on a 28.5" 300 spine VAP for whitetail. It should be fun.

Anyone got any magnus black hornet 125s for sale? Got into the game too late and didn’t order any until 3 weeks ago. Place I ordered them from just sent an email saying it would be end of October now before I get them.

VPA 3 Blade 150gr COC's with 100gr. Ethics Inserts. TAW: 527gr. FOC 21.7% These things spin great on the arrow spinner and shoot like a dream. The 3 fletch Zinger's control them nicely too!!! First time ever not gluing my own fletchings on with my Bitz. Kind of weird but also very convenient.

Have you shot any animals with those Zingers yet? Im looking into them, I just don't want them to pop off like the FOBs do.

PS. I'll be shooting the Tooth of the Arrow XLs this year. Was a long time user of Slick Tricks and still would shoot them again in a heartbeat. Switched to the Tooth of the Arrow heads cause they are one solid piece. Again, never had an issue with Slick Tricks but I want simplicity in my setup as much as I can. So that's why I made the switch.

Simplicity and structural integrity. These VPA's are machined from solid stock so there's no aluminum ferrule that may more easily bend or break. As far as the Zinger's, no I just put them on like a week ago but they seem to control these broadheads great. They are pretty tough to put on at first until you get your system down after that, they are very easy to work with. When you order them you have to specify the outside diameter of the shaft you will be using and the brand and category of shaft so they can make them custom to the bare shaft you're using. They don't move once installed but if you hit them with another arrow they will move up slightly but just move it back. I marked my shaft with a silver sharpie so I know where its position on my shaft was. Also, I had to install them to be 1.5" from the end of the shaft so they didn't stick into my cheek at full draw. I really like them so far. The only downside I can see is that if you do happen to hit one with another arrow, you have to throw away the whole thing but that is the only issue I see. I have the Z3's with a 3 degree left helical. I also ordered right helicals and one set of the Z4 with Right Helicals. So far the lefts are working fine for me.
