I'm with you only the 100gr Slick Trick magnums on Gold Tip Pierce. Slick Tricks have worked great the last couple seasons for me, even on less than perfect shots.

I wish I was a headlight on a north-bound train
They tune great as well.

I’d shine my light through the cool Colorado rain…

We’ve had stellar success with Rage Hypodermics on our small to medium piney woods deer and pigs. G5 Montecs do the trick on too. Both 100 grain. My son arrowed a cow elk with a Montec last year. She went down in under a hundred yards. I’m interested in heavy arrows and single bevels, but not enough to invest in the change.

Upside to mechanicals is most definitely the cut size. The reason they shoot like field points is an added bonus. How else are you going to get 3inches of cut without hiding the blades? I dont care if it is a lawnmower blade that transforms into a blender, if it spins true and I have enough horses to get it into the cage real good, I will send it. But in the same breath I have killed a lot of stuff with slick trick standards too.
