I missing the tree brackets on the double step sticks?
I am not sure if you can call them sticks? Looks like cables attaching them together. I have no idea...

So far I see we have the following climbing sticks coming out this year:
OOAL Shikar sticks
XOP mini sticks
LWCG double step sticks
Tethrd sticks (possibly?)
Ninja Timber Outdoors is coming out with carbon fiber sticks I believe this year.
I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything lower , all this stuff is elite gear, it ain’t gonna be cheap.I like the competition that is coming out. Now if they will compete on being the best with the lowest prices, that's where the competition needs to start. Wishful thinking probably but we will see.

Thats a hella sick micro tree stand.
I decided to order a couple OOAL shikar sticks to try out. Double step on top single on bottom. I should be able to just throw them in my pack. 4 with a CAYG aider should get me atleast 20’
stacking is slick though.Hard pass on the LWCG double step sticks. I am not a fan of those tree brackets.

very interesting concept....wouldnt work wiht single steps either the way they have created them...hmm...So the standoffs are basically just studs, interesting

Good observation. Didn't even think of that when I saw the pic. To me that is an epic fail, thats just my view anyway. Not that I use multiple sticks anymore but if I did I sure would want to have to take my rope/straps off to stack and back on when I unstacked.Sticks that you have to completely remove the belt/rope to stack are a no go for me

Agreed---and in many circumstance, releasing them for sale before they're 100%.Its like these companies are just putting stuff out to be the 1st with the concept instead of it really being a fine tuned system. I'm not impressed with any new products yet.
