2020 climbing sticks

Anyone spot what was hanging on the post here?

Looks neat... like perfected stick talons.

So what’s the take on perfected stick talons? Same concept, absolutely, seems to be LWCG’s mo. But stick talons are universal (any stand or sticks), bolt on - require no drilling, & allow for rear mounted not side mounted sticks keeping stand profile low.

Lwcg sticks look good, but im skeptical of the bolts instead of a sharp bracket to bite in and hold the stick from moving? And also they seem shallow and the stick will be too close to the tree?

Yea they are way too short. Gonna be to close... not for me. Their regular sticks are 4” to step from tree.

Well for their little 1/4 turn deal that is perfect.

I feel bad for the pre saddle version of myself that didn’t have the 5 lb LWCG treestand. Now you can bet a paycheck the final version of that stand is actually 10 lbs once you add a seat and strap and then adjust for the LWCG bs factor, err excuse me, the LWCG margin of error on their company scales.

The treestand version of myself would love that new stand. But the current version of me enjoys his feather light Predator and is more comfortable in his kestrel and he kills more bucks peeking around trees instead of sitting like a big frickin blob and them bucks get smoked before they know what hit them when the new me leans out like a Camo Spider-Man Rambo hybrid. Tree stands are like pagers, MySpace, cigarettes, lan lines, Comcast cable... etc etc.

Does anyone know if the shikar will stack onto a LW stick ? Stand gap looks a bit wide. Thanks.

Bumping this since these are supposedly being released soon. I have my eye on these because I have a Vanish XT and the way they attach to the stand would definitely be more convenient and less awkward than my Helium sticks. Yeah I'd probably need four to get to the same height as my Heliums but the ease of packing and smaller profile would be nice.
