For those coming to the NOVA Meetup here's something to consider for the afternoon before you drive home.

The Bull Run Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will be having their annual banquet at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds on Sat, Aug 15, starting at 3:30 pm.

There will be lots of good food, live music, a live auction, and lots of great prizes.

The Fauquier County Fairgrounds are at 6209 Old Auburn Road, Warrenton, VA 20187.

August 15th for sure. I know some folks have a drive ahead of them so what time are people liking? I like 9am as it's cooler but 10am works for them that are driving far. What say we?

Alright gang we're a week away and still haven't settled on a time. Is everyone liking 930 or 10? Also, it looks like it may rain, do we want to continue in the rain or postpone?

I’d say press even with the weather. Currently looks like pretty light rain, which could just as likely not end up being anything. Either time is fine with me.

Ok gang, real talk. It’s pouring rain here where the brewery is and is forecasted to do so until Monday. The spot I have picked out for us is off in the woods under tree canopy but we’re still gonna get wet. Should we postpone? Let’s hear some thoughts.
