2020 Saddles

FYI...TH slings ARE available. They just don't show on the TH website yet. Contact them for ordering details.
Thats all I'm gonna say about TH or ANY other products on this forum. God forbid I share knowledge of stuff. Someone might get their panties in a wad.
Tom I may be wrong but I don’t think that comment was in reference to you or TH.

X2 - I hope you didn't take my post of Secret as being aimed at you - I was giving the moderators a hard time. Personally I like all the teasing about new stuff coming out and the bantering - but we do have a ton of new critics that find fault in everything.

Calm your horses... I think everyone should be able to share knowledge, teasers, sneak peaks about products coming to market. I wasn’t saying you shouldn’t.

I was simply suggesting a vendor specific forum section if redsquirrel/mods don’t want the general forum plastered with product promotion by owners/employees of companies but the rules should be applied equally across the board then to all involved with developing or marketing a product.

You sir are marketing for treehopper.

I encourage you to use the report button when you feel a rule is being violated.

With the rapid growth of the site there are some growing pains with determining the best path with the rules. One thing @redsquirrel has been good at is always evaluating the rules (even if you aren't seeing it, it's being discussed) and adjusting when something better comes to light.

I'm sure he would be happy to listen to your suggestions for improvements.

Personally I could do without the teasers. I don't really give a flying fox what you call an insider...pro staff, owner, friend, rep, whatever. If the product is ready to reveal to the public, show it off, awesome. Just rubs me the wrong way when the insiders tease that something is coming but us peons can't see it until later. Real **** move that's pretty much totally turned me off from a couple companies in the saddlehunting industrial complex.

X2 Spot on.

All companies do it. If I got chapped every time someone teased something I can’t order yet, I’d have to put aquaphor out of business trying to ease the burn...

Yeah I get that, but keep it to tweettr and facebook and other levels of hell that I don't inhabit. I perceive this place is supposed to be for semi-intelligent discussion between friends and collaborators. To come on here with the attitude "I know something you don't know" just doesn't fly with me.

New saddles will be available for preorder in July to ensure you get them by December.

It seems that way but I preordered the mantis and kestrel and had both in time for the September opener.

I wish all of these saddle manufacturers would go to the harrisburg show. it is the largest outdoor show east of the mississippi. how incredible would it be to go there and actually sit in every brand of saddle?? that's the hardest part about this game, buying stuff sight unseen and hoping it will work. if i could sit in a tethrd, aerohunter, trophyline, treehopper, H2, and all of the other brands, i could make a very informed decision. plus, it would be a great statement from the saddle world to show that we have arrived. well, i can wish. haha.
