I'm camping and bringing fire wood. Might bring a pot to cook something that night if we get a few campers.
I've got some wood that needs to be burnt up that I'll probably go ahead and get up there this week. Keep in mind I'm literally right around the corner too. Got a gas grill, smoker, microwave, oven, and probably some other crap too.

Did you get a chance to check and see if she’s flooded? If I come I gotta bring the dog but we plan on camping.

Doing that tonight. I've never seen it flooded, but if it's going to do it now would be the time. Water is like a foot below the record. Worst case I'd have to find an alternate site, which shouldn't be difficult down here.

Sorry about that last post. I’ve been reading this forum for a couple of years but never even registered till a few weeks ago when I saw this meet up listed. So, I’m still figuring the buttons out.

I plan on getting there Friday afternoon and camping thru Sunday. I have a small 20’ camper so my wife and dogs will probably tag along.

I went by the campground area at the end of last week, water was up to the gate but the camping area was dry.

Just sent you a PM. I might be able to come up Friday night and keep you company, but if not you've got my number. Call if you need anything.

Also, if anybody plans on hunting hogs, the best bet is going to be the Jacinto Port and Tom Rush tracts in Saraland (part of the Mobile-Tensaw WMA. About 45 minutes away. Small game or archery tackle only. Boat ramp in Saraland is closed for now, but there is walk-in access.

HSS Harness + Sitdrag/fleece (since I sold my Kestrel yesterday)

3 Lone Wolf sticks with SCOUT platform AYO

I already told you they are in Bankhead, you gotta find from there haha!
I've actually killed one there many, many moons ago, I was hoping to find a pig while I was there but you mentioned they are hunted hard there and trapped year round don't sound conductive to finding hunt able populations, if turkeys are there Ill find them and kill them lol

Guess I have to bring saddle hunting gear. No thrills and hype set up. Size one kestrel, modified helium sticks and modified Lonewolf sticks.

CHANGE OF PLANS!!

Campground at the Upper Delta WMA is knee-deep in water. So are most of the local sights.

Venue has been moved to Blakeley state park.

$4 park entrance fee. RV, tent, and improved tent (water, power, table, for pit) facilities if you want to camp. Access to bath house. Overnight rates are reasonable, and they still have some room. Plenty of pavilions to hold the main event. Plenty of stores 10 minutes away in Spanish Fort. You can buy food, tent, rifle, whatever.

Very close access to Mobile-Tensaw WMA. Plenty of squirrels and hogs if that interests you.

Please let me know if you have questions.
