2021 "Huck it, I'mma Sit on My Bucket" Contest

I read nothing in the rules about not being able to stack 10 buckets high and 2TC up for a higher vantage point. I'm down like 4 flats.

All in favor of seeing how this goes should mail a locally purchased 5 gallon bucket to:

I am Fl Canopy Stalker candidate for bucket contest winner and I support this message

I use buckets to feed my cattle! Please don’t cause the saddle hunter affect on them. Be like trying to find oplux or a ropeman last year.
There’s nothing wrong with a 4-6 week wait for a feed bucket. You could always order a Drey or a Cruzr XC and use one of them to feed the cows with the hammock or pleat open  they are plenty spacious

Hence the extra points for a 60 pound lab-a-deer...is this contest rig?
All jokes aside, our full grown key deer, are smaller than my blue tick and our white tails aren’t much bigger! It’s sad. We cannot cull spotted fawn though so I feel like Nutterbuster has the advantage there lol

Us northern guys would never win. Most fawns don't have spots any more come season. Except the early doe in Mi. But I did recall something once that said you couldn't shoot a deer with spots. I glanced through the regulations, but did not see it. Maybe they took it out. Either way. Sounds like fun, but tags are expensive up here and we can't shoot 4 a day like you guys can. So I will just watch for entertainment purposes.

I’d play, but I’d use my own bucket with the backrest. The reason I don‘t do well in the saddle comp…..I shoot more with other methods. Saddles count for kills, just not the majority.

I'll have to think about it, your rules are skewed against Wisconsin hunters. Shooting, or possession of a spotted fawn is illegal here.

I hear a whole lotta excuses for not entering the free contest. I’m disappointed with the amount of hubris round here.

we talk about which climbing method or saddle is best, chests are poked out to the max. As soon as someone offers a wrinkle in the deer killing, you fools fold like Lawn chairs.

don’t do your best. Do my best. Say yes.

How fun. I'm down to clown. Although our deer are no longer fawns by October 1st, we consider them yearlings. Will that count? Either way, they fit better on the grill so why not? One of my best friends is 87 years old this year and that's what he does every year. He goes out into the woods and sits on his five gallon bucket. He usually isn't successful but he still gets out there and enjoys God's creation. He usually sees a buck every time too. He always asks me, "Is my bucket still in my spot?" He actually has two buckets, he tips them over and places a couple of heavy rocks on them. They last awhile just sitting there. He actually has a good spot. He's on the convergence of the corner of an old farm house foundation and a small creek in near a brush lined draw that's about 50 yards from an inside corner. Everything goes within 75 yards of that spot that is going through there. Nice pinch point. Maybe I'll steal his spot!!!
